Cochin International Airport (IATA: COK, ICAO: VOCI) is an international airport situated in the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Located at Nedumbassery, about 30 km (19 mi) northeast of Kochi, it is the busiest and largest airport in the state of Kerala. For the financial year 2014-15, Cochin airport is the fourth busiest airport in India in terms of international passenger traffic after Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai ferrying over 3,751,225 passengers and seventh busiest airport in India carrying 6,814,867 passengers.[3] The airport is a primary base for Air India Express operations and is a focus city for Air Asia India, Air India, IndiGo, Jet Airways and SpiceJet. Cochin International Airport is the first in India developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model and was funded by nearly 10,000 non-resident Indians from 30 countries.[4] On August 18, 2015, it became the world's first fully solar energy powered airport with the inauguration of the dedicated solar plant.[5][ The original proposal for the airport outlined an estimated cost of ₹100 crore (US$15 million) and an expected date of commission in 1997. Approval was granted in May 1993. The funding was envisaged to be from interest-free loans from non-resident Indians working abroad, donations from industrial undertakings, exporters, cooperative societies and loans from the state government. A body called the Cochin International Airport Society, under the chairmanship of the chief minister of Kerala, was registered in July 1993 to execute the project. To better fund mobilisation, as well as administrative convenience, a public limited company under the name Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL) was registered in March 1994 with an authorised capital of ₹90 crore (US$13 million).[11] A total of 1,500 acres (610 hectares) of land was acquired for the construction of the airport.[12] Approximately 2,300 landowners and 872 families were resettled under a rehabilitation package.[13] Major electric lines and an irrigation canal had to be diverted. The facility was formally inaugurated by the then President of India, KR Narayanan on 25 May 1999, and the first commercial service began on 10 June 1999. The operations from the old naval airport were moved to CIAL on 1 July 1999.

Kochi (formerly Cochin; Malayalam: കൊച്ചി) is a cosmopolitan city in Kerala with a bustling commercial port. Kochi is the financial capital of Kerala and, with a population of more than 2 million, the biggest urban agglomeration in the state.A blending of several small villages on the southwestern coast created the current incarnation of Kochi (or Cochin), where sunset strolls, sampling fresh fish from seaside vendors and boat rides through the islands just offshore top visitors' to-do lists. Art centers showcase the traditional dance, Kathakali. European influences are seen in the 16th-century Portuguese-built churches and forts, while the mark of early Chinese traders is visible in the unusual fishing nets dotting the shoreline.

On the other hand Kurup is living a peaceful life with is wife Devu and his sons. Menon has taken some signed papers from Kurup. under the label of business purpose. But before it's too late, Kurup got hints about the other face of Menon. One day he went to office and cross checked the accounts, he came to know that he is being cheated. When he asked about this to Menon, he tactically answered them. But Kurup did not take his words. Slowly it build cracks in their relations. Finally Kurup asked for share and asked to end the partnership. Menon decided to frame Kurup. Menon's hing-men deliberately put poison in the distillery of Menon. And people died, Menon was arrested and put behind the bars. When Vijay and Vinu went to take revenge on this, they were caught by Menon's hing men. On the other hand, Boban had a crush to Anitha. But she absolutely refused him. He approached her mother through Menon. SInce Vijay was locked in, she couldn;t resist much. She had to marry Boban. But Boban never loved her, from the first night, he started to show his dirty face. Kurup escaped from Jail and went to Menon's for his sons . Ho Chi Minh City, formerly named Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam. It was once known as Prey Nokor, an important Khmer sea port prior to annexation by the Vietnamese in the 17th century. Under the name Saigon, it was the capital of the French colony of Cochin-china and later of the independent state of South Vietnam from 1955 to 1975. In 1976, Saigon merged with the surrounding Gia Định Province and was officially renamed Hồ Chí Minh City after Hồ Chí Minh (although the name Sài Gòn is still commonly used. The city center is situated on the banks of the Saigon River, 60 kilometers (37 mi) from the South China Sea[3] and 1,760 kilometers (1,090 mi) south of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.

Flying the longest non-stop flight in India on Air India between Kochi and the nation's capital, New Delhi. Air India was reasonably okay on this flight although there is a lot to be improved. Air India, the national carrier of India, flies thrice daily between New Delhi and Kochi. The Delhi-Kochi route also happens to be the longest non-stop sector within India. Note that this flight was flown in October 2013 Scheduled flight time was 2 hrs and 55 min with actual flying time being the same. Scheduled time of departure was 07:25 am with scheduled arrival time being 10:20 am. My seat for this flight was 26F on the right side of the plane. The aircraft for this flight was VT-PPV, an Airbus A321-200. This flight was honestly a disappointment, but there were positives. The seat was great-nice and comfortable with a good amount of legroom. IFE wasn't switched on. For a 3 hr flight, no IFE is quite boring, but the magazine was a reasonably good read. However, the biggest disappointment were the crew, who were pretty unprofessional. During meal service, the crew curtly claimed to have run out of the non-veg option for the row behind me. However, upon reaching 2 rows ahead, the non-veg option was served again. It was a bit of a rude shock to get treated like that on a full service full fare ticket. The food wasn't bad though. I, who normally avoid South Indian breakfasts, found the sambar and upma to be very good. However, the rest of the meal was quite average. Airfare for this flight was 23K INR return as this was a last minute booking. Seat 9/10 IFE 4/10 Meal 8/10 Crew 3/10 Overall experience rating : 6.0/10 I have flown Air India multiple times. The ORD-LHR-BOM sector, the COK-BLR sector and the BOM-COK sector, and have been satisfied by the service I got. However, this flight goes down as being quite unpleasant and disappointing. Although my return flight was slightly better, it does not compensate for the experience from this flight. Thanks for watching! Music in this video is created and owned by me. One of my trip video where i captured the landing moment from a Jet Airways flight from Bengaluru International airport (India) to Cochin International airport (India). Bengaluru or Bangalore is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka, located in the southern India on the Deccan Plateau. Bangalore is known as the Silicon valley of India because of it's role as the nations leading Information Technology (IT). I have enjoyed my one night stay at Bengaluru & should say that I have fallen in love with the climate of the state. I will definitely visit Bengaluru back some time in future. Kochi, also known as Cochin, is a major port city on the south west coast of India by the Laccadive Sea and is a part of the district of Ernakulam in the state of Kerala, India. Kochi is often called Ernakulam, which refers to the mainland part of the city. Known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, Kochi was an important spice trading centre on the west coast of India from the 14th century. Occupied by the Portuguese Empire in 1503, Kochi was the first of the European colonies in colonial India. It remained the main seat of Portuguese India until 1530, when Goa was chosen instead. The city was later occupied by the Dutch and the British, with the Kingdom of Cochin becoming a princely state. Kochi ranks first in the total number of international and domestic tourist arrivals in Kerala. Wonderful people, neat & clean environment, pollution free, greenery all around. Cheaper accommodation & food. Jet Airways is a major Indian airline based in Mumbai. It is the second largest airline in India, both in terms of market share and passengers carried, after IndiGo. It operates over 300 flights daily to 74 destinations worldwide. My entire round trip on Jet Airways was a pleasant experience. Their flights are always on time & had the best in-flight service at internationally & nationally at the best affordable price.
