It reminded me of my childhood days when I used to love drawing and painting. Also, the fact that as a kid I found the love of my life in the form of "Dance" which I pursue till today. This exhibition definitely inspired me to keep ART alive in my life. It not only acts as a stress buster but is a great companion as well. Ship Building Business -** This is 74% of company's revenue and the company has order book of 3000 crores in this segment with navy and coast guard being the main client. The order book show visibility of revenues for the next 2 years. The government's make in India project especially for defence vessels will help the company going Forward. The company gets 85% of its total revenue from non cyclical defence companies. **Factor #2 - Reason of the IPO** - The IPO is a Book building Issue as well as Offer for Sale. The company will get 979 crores whereas the government will get 489 crores. The Company has 2000 Crores cash on book and will get another 979 crores from the IPO, which will be used for a expansion of capacity in both Ship repair as well as Ship Building facility. The Total Capex of 2800 Crores will be completed in next 2.5-3 years. Ship Building Capex - They would be Setting up of a new dry dock within the existing premises of Company (“Dry Dock”) ~1800 Cr .The construction commencement is expected from Jan 2018 and execution time of 30 Months Ship Repair Capex - Setting up of an international ship repair facility at Cochin Port Trust area (“ISRF”) ~970 Cr The construction commencement is expected from Nov 2017 and execution time of 30 Months. This will 60% capacity repair capacity increase from currently 80-100 vessels per year. **Factor 3 - Peers Bankrupt - **All the listed peers of the company are bankrupt and are facing major problems. The company will be the only good surviving company in a struggling industry due to its defence orders and debt free status. Reliance Defence, ABG and Bharati defence had an EPS of -8,-686,-438 respectively against a positive 27.56 EPS of cochin shipyard. **Factor 4 - Valuation - **Post IPO the company will have a cash balance of 3,000 crores whereas at top range a market cap of 5800 crores. The Cash Per share is roughly 220 per share. The company generated adjusted operating cash of 350 crores in FY2017 and its expected to remain at 350-450 crores till similar levels till new capacity comes. The company did a mindblowing ROIC of 47% in FY 2017 and expected to remain at elevated levels for the foreseeable future. We value the Operating business at 15x Trailing PE Multiple at 355/share+ 220 cash on books = 575/Share. **Factor 5 - Moat (barrier to Entry) - **High capital investments and the requirement of adequate cash flows act as major barriers to entry in this space. The whole industry is struggling except this company, we don't see any new competition coming in for the foreseeable future. Moreover, critical factors such as expertise and technical know-how are some of the pre-requisites that limit the entry in this industry. **Factor 6 - Financials - ** Conclusion -Cochin Shipyard is a superb bet on the Make in India Story and at IPO price its a steal with smart management whose revenues are primarily in defence space which are non cyclical in nature. The ship repair business generates great cashflow and is of great importance tactically for the country. We recommend a Strong Subscribe to it.

Cochin International Airport (IATA: COK, ICAO: VOCI) is an international airport situated in the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Located at Nedumbassery, about 30 km (19 mi) northeast of Kochi, it is the busiest and largest airport in the state of Kerala. For the financial year 2014-15, Cochin airport is the fourth busiest airport in India in terms of international passenger traffic after Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai ferrying over 3,751,225 passengers and seventh busiest airport in India carrying 6,814,867 passengers.[3] The airport is a primary base for Air India Express operations and is a focus city for Air Asia India, Air India, IndiGo, Jet Airways and SpiceJet. Cochin International Airport is the first in India developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model and was funded by nearly 10,000 non-resident Indians from 30 countries.[4] On August 18, 2015, it became the world's first fully solar energy powered airport with the inauguration of the dedicated solar plant.[5][ The original proposal for the airport outlined an estimated cost of ₹100 crore (US$15 million) and an expected date of commission in 1997. Approval was granted in May 1993. The funding was envisaged to be from interest-free loans from non-resident Indians working abroad, donations from industrial undertakings, exporters, cooperative societies and loans from the state government. A body called the Cochin International Airport Society, under the chairmanship of the chief minister of Kerala, was registered in July 1993 to execute the project. To better fund mobilisation, as well as administrative convenience, a public limited company under the name Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL) was registered in March 1994 with an authorised capital of ₹90 crore (US$13 million).[11] A total of 1,500 acres (610 hectares) of land was acquired for the construction of the airport.[12] Approximately 2,300 landowners and 872 families were resettled under a rehabilitation package.[13] Major electric lines and an irrigation canal had to be diverted. The facility was formally inaugurated by the then President of India, KR Narayanan on 25 May 1999, and the first commercial service began on 10 June 1999. The operations from the old naval airport were moved to CIAL on 1 July 1999.

The cost of the dry dock is estimated at Rs 1,800 crore and that of ISRF at Rs 970 crore. CSL is going for IPO from August 1 to 3 part fund the project. It expects to raise Rs 1468 crore by issuing 33,984,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each at a price band of Rs 424 to 432 per equity share. The issue consists of fresh issue of 22,656,000 equity shares and offer for sale 11,328,000 equity shares. Post IPO, the share of government in CSL will come down to 75 % from 100%. The construction will start in early 2018 and is expected to be completed in 30 months. "We have cash in hand of about Rs 1,600 crore and another Rs 1,200 crore will be got through internal accruals in the next few years. These along with IPO amount will help us fund the projects and meet the working capital of about Rs 1,000 crore needed annually," Nair said. He pointed out that global shipping is passing through one of the worst recessionary phases which has resulted in the drying up of international orders leading to a slowdown in the top line growth. However, CSL has been consistently making profits. In 2016-17, CSL made a net profit of Rs 312 crore on an income of Rs 2,208 crore. While the profit went up 7%, the income grew by 5 % from a year earlier. =================================================== DISCLAIMER: Information, Facts or Opinion expressed in this Video are Presented as Sources and do not reflects views of INDIA TUBE and hence INDIA TUBE is not liable or responsible for the same. Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is the largest shipbuilding and maintenance facility in India. It is part of a line of maritime-related facilities in the port-city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Of the services provided by the shipyard are building platform supply vessels and double-hulled oil tankers. Presently it is building the first indigenous aircraft carrier for the Indian Navy. Cochin Shipyard was incorporated in 1972 as a Government of India company, with the first phase of facilities coming online in 1982. The yard has facilities to build vessels up to 1.1 million tons and repair vessels up to 1.25 million tons, the largest such facilities in India. The shipyard also trains graduate engineers in marine engineering. Around one hundred students are trained each year. The first ship to roll out of the Cochin Shipyard was the MV Rani Padmini in 1981. The yard has delivered two of India's largest double-hull Aframax tankers each of 95,000 DWT. Flying the longest non-stop flight in India on Air India between Kochi and the nation's capital, New Delhi. Air India was reasonably okay on this flight although there is a lot to be improved. Air India, the national carrier of India, flies thrice daily between New Delhi and Kochi. The Delhi-Kochi route also happens to be the longest non-stop sector within India. Note that this flight was flown in October 2013 Scheduled flight time was 2 hrs and 55 min with actual flying time being the same. Scheduled time of departure was 07:25 am with scheduled arrival time being 10:20 am. My seat for this flight was 26F on the right side of the plane. The aircraft for this flight was VT-PPV, an Airbus A321-200. This flight was honestly a disappointment, but there were positives. The seat was great-nice and comfortable with a good amount of legroom. IFE wasn't switched on. For a 3 hr flight, no IFE is quite boring, but the magazine was a reasonably good read. However, the biggest disappointment were the crew, who were pretty unprofessional. During meal service, the crew curtly claimed to have run out of the non-veg option for the row behind me. However, upon reaching 2 rows ahead, the non-veg option was served again. It was a bit of a rude shock to get treated like that on a full service full fare ticket. The food wasn't bad though. I, who normally avoid South Indian breakfasts, found the sambar and upma to be very good. However, the rest of the meal was quite average. Airfare for this flight was 23K INR return as this was a last minute booking. Seat 9/10 IFE 4/10 Meal 8/10 Crew 3/10 Overall experience rating : 6.0/10 I have flown Air India multiple times. The ORD-LHR-BOM sector, the COK-BLR sector and the BOM-COK sector, and have been satisfied by the service I got. However, this flight goes down as being quite unpleasant and disappointing. Although my return flight was slightly better, it does not compensate for the experience from this flight. Thanks for watching! Music in this video is created and owned by me. Ho Chi Minh City, formerly named Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam. It was once known as Prey Nokor, an important Khmer sea port prior to annexation by the Vietnamese in the 17th century. Under the name Saigon, it was the capital of the French colony of Cochin-china and later of the independent state of South Vietnam from 1955 to 1975. In 1976, Saigon merged with the surrounding Gia Định Province and was officially renamed Hồ Chí Minh City after Hồ Chí Minh (although the name Sài Gòn is still commonly used. The city center is situated on the banks of the Saigon River, 60 kilometers (37 mi) from the South China Sea[3] and 1,760 kilometers (1,090 mi) south of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.

Fort Kochi is a region in the city of Kochi in the state of Kerala, India. This is part of a handful of water-bound regions toward the south-west of the mainland Kochi, and collectively known as Old Kochi or West Kochi. Adjacent to this is Mattancherry. In 1967, these three municipalities, along with a few adjoining areas, were amalgamated to form the Corporation of Cochin. Vypin/ Vypeen is one among a group of islands, that form part of the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. The island is about 27 km long. Vypin is connected to mainland Kochi by a series of bridges known as the Goshree Bridges, which take off from Kalamukku in Vypin, touches other two island and lands in Marine Drive, Kochi. The western coast of Vypin has the longest beach in Kochi namely, the Cherai Beach, Kuzhuppilly Beach and the Puthuvype Beach. The northern tip of Vypin (Munambam) has the largest fishing harbour in Kochi namely, the Munambam Fishing Harbour. Recently Puthuvype is became the major industrial hub in Kerala and the fastest growing city suburb i.e., the SPM project of the Kochi Refineries, the Puthuvyp LNG Terminal, IOC Bottling Plant and the proposed Oceanarium. India's first international container trans-shipment terminal (ICTT) in the Special Economic Zone at Vallarpadam Island, designed to handle the largest container ships,is opened by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on February 11, 2011. There are regular boat services from Fort Kochi to Vypin Island. In 2004 a bridge was built by Goshree Islands Development Authority (GIDA) and thus Vypin was connected to the main land. The Goshree bridges also connects the islands Mulavukad and Vallarpadam. Now Vypin is a fast-developing suburb of the Kochi City. Today all basic infrastructures for modern living are available in Vypin. Njarakkal is the business capital of Vypin. Travellers from North Kerala use the Vypin-Munambam state highway to reach Ernakulam. Art centers showcase the traditional dance, Kathakali. European influences are seen in the 16th-century Portuguese-built churches and forts, while the mark of early Chinese traders is visible in the unusual fishing nets dotting the shoreline.
